* Direct lying about matters of fact.                                                                                         * Leaving out vital information.                                                                                                 * Limited hangout. (This is an admission of a crime or a mistake, which only partially reveals the whole truth. The idea is that by admitting a fraction of what really happened and burying the biggest revelations, people will be satisfied and go away, and the story will never be covered again.)                                                                                                         * Shutting down the truth after publishing it—includes failing to follow up and investigate a story more deeply.                                                                                                                   * Not connecting dots between important pieces of data.                                                       * Censoring the truth, wherever it is found (or calling it “fake news”).                                    * Using biased “experts” to present slanted or false “facts.”                                                   * Repeating a false story many times—this includes the echo-chamber effect, in which a number of outlets “bounce” the false story among themselves.                                             * Claiming a reasonable and true consensus exists, when it doesn’t, when there are many important dissenters, who are shut out from offering their analysis.                                      * Employing a panoply of effects (reputation of the media outlet, voice quality of the anchor, acting skills, dry mechanical language, studio lighting, overlay of electronic transmissions, etc.) to create an impression of elevated authority which is beyond challenge.

These are all traditional forms and methods.

Trust in the ‘mainstream’ media continues to collapse amid a torrent of fake news and fabricated narratives.

No one knows how to profit from scaring the pants off of people quite like the government. And they don’t even need an actual threat to make it happen.

Take “climate change” and “global warming” for example.

These are both naturally occurring, cyclical events that have been happening since the dawn of the Earth. Many things can cause the climate to change.

The thing about climate change is that it happens all the time, it has always happened all the time, and it will continue to happen all the time. It’s just the way it is because the Earth isn’t a static lump of rock floating in space. It’s a dynamic, evolving, changing lump of rock floating in space and there are many, many things both on the planet and off-world that can affect the climate.

The climate, just like the Earth itself, never stands still. It’s dynamic and ever evolving. That will continue just as it always has.

Meanwhile, we’ll all get carbon-taxed into poverty as the government and a few cronies bask in the wealth acquired from the fear of extinction they have created.

Major molecular differences proven between GMO “Frankencorn” and non-GMO normal corn – serious safety implications revealed by new peer-reviewed study

Toxin-resistant GMO corn called NK603 produces its own toxic effects, according to recent research out of the King’s College in London. NK603 is corn that is immune to the toxic herbicide Roundup but is toxic itself, so what’s the use, and why have the manufacturers been lying to Americans for years saying that the genetic mutation that contains weed-killing components is the “substantial equivalent” of its parent – a normal, conventional, non-toxic variety of corn? NK603 GM corn literally produces toxic effects that heighten allergic reactions and propel the formation of carcinogenic nitrosamines.

NK603 has been engineered in a laboratory to “tolerate” massive amounts of noxious weed-killers, including Monsanto’s infamous Roundup, that contains about 50% glyphosate, which was implicated by the World Health Organization as a probable cancer-causing agent for humans. Top it off with the fact that glyphosate becomes exponentially more toxic when combined with all the other “inert” or “inactive” ingredients in Roundup. Scientific correlations have also been made between glyphosate and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

GMO crops are not “substantially equivalent” to conventional, non-GM crops. It’s all a big lie and continuation of a sham perpetrated on US consumers for thirty years and running. Research reveals disturbing variations that damage liver and kidney biochemistry in animals, and in some instances, in less than three months.

Greenhouses cover every square inch of land, more than 165 square miles of land around Almeria, Spain.

The smell of plastic and chemicals permeate the air and offer the first scent of the larger environmental problem.

The greenhouses are almost all hydroponic—growing vegetables in water, air and a chemical stew of fertilizer, herbicide and pesticide. Due to the hot and extremely difficult working conditions inside the greenhouses, almost all of the human labor is imported, much of it slave-like from Africa.

In a 2011 news report in The Guardian it said that more than 100,000 workers toil away inside the greenhouses, many living in “inhuman” slums and laboring in the chemical stew.

A 2015 report in NaturPhilosophie noted that, in addition to the massive human rights problems, the area is plagued with depleted aquifers, the largest desalination plant in Europe to keep water flowing into the greenhouses, and rising cancer rates due to pesticide exposure among workers.

Waste from the “farms” is reported to run off into the Mediterranean Sea, including the chemical waste, plastic waste and human waste of the workers. Entire industries have popped up in the area simply to make the massive amount of plastic for the greenhouses which has a short lifespan and is sometimes discarded, strewn across the landscape or washed into the sea.

The world’s precious few remaining large forests are fragmenting at an alarming rate, and the degradation in Canada leads the world.

It is very difficult to restore intact forests that have been degraded. Potapov estimated it would take 30 years for such forests to be restored in the tropics and more than 100 in boreal regions, such as Canada’s north.

Canada had 24 per cent of the world’s intact forest landscapes in 2013. Nearly two-thirds of the world’s intact forests are found in Canada, Russia and Brazil, but they are rapidly being degraded in those places.

Foxconn might not be a company that is at the forefront of most American minds, but the products they create most certainly are. Christmas might not have been the same without considering purchases of Apple’s iPhone, some of Amazon’s Kindle products, or Microsoft’s Xbox to name but a few. The Taiwan-based company is the world’s leader in contract manufacturing of electronics with a market cap north of $100 billion; they have also become the third largest employer in the world with 1.3 million, which makes the following news that much more troubling.

Foxconn first rose to some level of notoriety – indeed infamy – when reports of human rights violations began to surface in the early part of this decade. Foxconn chose to remedy a spike in worker suicides during 2010-2011 at one of their Chinese plants by installing “suicide nets” so those subjected to slave-like conditions could remain on the plantation. Nevertheless, 2,000 workers rioted in 2012 amid charges of abuse by security guards making it doubtful that conditions had improved.

Now with the rise in automation, Foxconn is leading the way toward eliminating the need to deal with human employees altogether, demonstrating that the race to the bottom might end in factories filled exclusively with robots.

Foxconn is implementing a three-phase plan to convert the human workforce into “Foxbots” and they have successfully eliminated 60,000 employees at just one of their factories.

Foxconn is merely the canary in the coal of mine of the global outsourcing of humans to machines that is accelerating rapidly as we transition into the new year, and some experts estimate could see all of us outsourced by 2045. This might be the reason why automation has become such a prominent topic of the economic elite and its corporate media public relations arm.

Any time a story comes out of Washington Post, readers should realize three things. First, WAPO is a regular attendee at the secretive elite Bilderberg annual conference, has been for decades. Two, so is WAPO’s relatively new owner, Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos. Three, Bezos literally works with the CIA, having taken contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars from the agency to provide its cloud data storage.

Researchers at Indiana University in the US have launched Hoaxy, a platform to follow the spread of “fake news” on the Internet.

“Hoaxy”, its creators allege, is an open service that allows to automatically track the spread of news in order to analyze the problem and be able to design strategies that end with the so-called disinformation that involves the spread of false news, rumors and conspiracy theories.

The system uses a series of web crawlers to detect links to articles posted on fake news sites. Then, through a Social Media Application Programming Interface (API), “Hoaxy” checks how these false news spread across networks. The question here is who determined what a fake news site is and what methodology was used.

Apparently, the user only has to write in the platform searcher the subject that interests him and the service will return a list with all the false news that have been published on the subject. No explanation is given as to why those links lead to “fake news” or how the decision was made to determine that such news is fake.

The platform also offers results from alleged conspiracy theories. Among some of the topics included in the conspiracy theory section are Chemtrails, or the artificial modification of the weather by governments and private entities. Chemtrails are far from being a conspiracy theory. It is more of a conspiracy fact.

In reality, what tools like “Hoaxy” are, are the beginning of a massive push for internet censorship against the rising independent media. Why? Because independent media have gained more respect, trust and audiences than the traditional, corporate controlled dying media.

Hoaxy and tools of the same kind will be used to target dissenting views, not to eliminate fake news.

The Amazon rainforest is being destroyed at an increasingly rapid rate, according to an annual study of satellite measurements conducted by the Brazil’s National Institute for Space Research (INPE).

In late November, INPE released data showing that nearly 8,000 square kilometers of Amazon rainforest were lost to clear cutting between August 2015 and July 2016. The loss was 29 percent greater than the year before, when 6,207 square kilometers were cleared – largely as the result of clear cutting for crops, cattle-raising and illegal logging operations.

The increased rate of deforestation over the past two years is particularly worrisome because it represents a reversal of a decreasing trend that began in 2004 when the Brazilian government implemented anti-deforestation policies.
