Dr. Jeff Bradstreet, an enthusiastic vaccine researcher and the anti- vaccine opponent was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest. The police claimed the death was suicide.

In spite of objections from those who knew him best, police investigators claim the death was a suicide, but family members and friends are not convinced.

Dr Bradstreet was a parent of a child who developed autism just after receiving a vaccination. This inspired him to research the harmful side effects of vaccines which then turned him into an outspoken activist.

Though many believe that the Gulf of Mexico is “back to normal” following the 2010 BP oil spill, the Gulf has continued to suffer silently in the years since. Natural gas and oil companies, with full approval of the EPA, have been dumping unlimited quantities of fracking wastewater and chemicals into the Gulf, with 75 billion gallons dumped in 2014 alone. Though these massive volumes of wastewater cannot contain oil and must meet toxicity standards, oil and gas well operators are only required to test the waste stream a few times a year with no oversight. When the Center for Biological Diversity contacted the EPA for more information, the EPA responded that they “didn’t really know what chemicals are being discharged into the Gulf of Mexico.” Despite this clear lack of knowledge and failure to provide critical oversight of energy companies, the EPA has announced a draft plan that would continue this same, misguided “policy” for the next several years.

I would imagine that everyone has heard the sound of a crying baby. It is usually a simple distress call, “I need a diaper change … I am hungry … I need to be burped … I want to be cuddled and rocked for a while.”

There is another kind of cry that now comes from babies, which is quite different. You may not have heard such a cry or maybe if you have, you didn’t recognize it. This kind of cry is an extremely high pitched scream. This cry is an ear piercing shrill shriek that sounds like the baby is having its bowels cut with knives or having its skin torn from its body.

This is not a normal cry for the usual forms of parental attention — it is a plea for protection and deliverance from a sinister menace. This shriek is the sound of uncontrolled terror and pain.

The cause is commonly an adverse reaction to a vaccine. Once you have heard this kind of scream your heart will never be the same, because you realize that something is terribly wrong and you can’t fix it by changing a diaper or giving milk.

This is a wake-up call. It is indefensible to be using critical antibiotics as growth promotion in animals. That’s just not a logical or ethical thing to do.

Researchers recently announced that they’d found strains of bacteria that are resistant to the planet’s most potent antibiotic, colistin. Not only that, but the gene for this resistance is easily shared between different strains. So it’s really just a matter of time before this resistance goes global.

The road to this discovery started in 2011. The Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology funded a group of researchers to test meat samples around the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou. Much of the country’s meat is produced here in high-intensity factory farms, where farmers stave off infection by feeding the animals human-grade antibiotics. This might insure investments for farmers, but it also encourages bacteria to develop ways of coping with our best antibiotics.

That’s not to say China is to blame. Antibiotics have been used in animal agriculture everywhere for a long time and especially in the US. It’s just that we’re paying for it now.

To unpack this complex issue we spoke to Dr. Patrick Harris. He’s an infectious disease physician and microbiologist with the University of Queensland, and he co-wrote a paper on what it means to have our last antibiotic curtailed—both now, and very soon.

Some 90% of the world’s media is controlled by a mere six corporations. The business model of this industry is dependent on advertising revenue, which means that the content they produce must serve well the bottom lines of advertisers, or more significantly, content cannot be of detriment to the profits of corporate advertisers.

This is the reason why so much of the most important news in our times goes un-noticed and under-reported on, most notably environmental news, for if our attention was sufficiently directed to these issues then we would certainly change our attitudes, priorities and behaviors, potentially harming the income streams of the biggest environmental destroyers on the planet, and the biggest advertisers.

Of particular note is the destruction being done to the Amazon, the ‘lungs of the earth’ as it is known by those who understand the value of life and the need to protect the world’s ecosystems from corporate greed. While indigenous people continue to rally around in support of Amazonian conservation, consumerism in ‘first-world’ parts of the world continues to demand resources that are increasingly being harvested from the most bio-diverse regions of the planet.

After failed conservation efforts, the Ecuadorian government has given up and as of September 2016 the state owned oil company Petroamazonas began drilling for oil in the most pristine and biodiverse region of the entire Amazon, the Yasuní.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention apparently have a lot of dried and smelly scientific egg yolk to scrape off their agency’s face but, more so, from its credibility rating as a First World Health Agency!

The World Health Organization has released a new report that indicates that some 92 percent of the world’s population is living in an area where air pollution exceeds the WHO’s limits. This means that the majority of people reside in a place where just breathing the air can make you sick and increase your risk of developing diseases like lung cancer and heart disease.

BBC News reports: “[The WHO] said its latest data represented the most detailed study it has ever released. The analysis combined satellite measurements and more than 3,000 monitoring stations on the ground with air transport models.”

According to the report, the Southeast Asia and Western Pacific regions account for two-thirds of such deaths, with poorer nations increasingly bearing the burden of pollution-related illness and death. Outdoor air pollution is said to be attributed to approximately 3 million deaths annually worldwide. However, if indoor air pollution is considered, up to 90 percent of global deaths can be connected to poor air quality.
