6 Reasons Why I Won’t Be Getting the Flu Vaccination

Once again, for those of us living in the Northern hemisphere the colder weather, shorter daylight hours have arrived. And here we go again. Out comes the mass media hype and fear mongering with all those propaganda ploys on a largely unsuspecting public persuading us to get vaccinated against the flu.

I have been drumming on for some years now about this. The only thing that can be said about these toxic vaccinations is they are great for lining the pockets of pharmaceutical companies. So, here are my reasons why I won’t be getting the flu vaccination.

1. The vaccine can cause harm

I could allow myself to get quite angry when I hear such blanket statements like ‘everyone should be vaccinated against the flu…’ purporting flu prevention like those vaccinators set up in supermarket stalls waiting for you or your children to roll up your sleeves for the shot. Then there are doctors who get paid bonuses for reaching target figures for mass vaccinations…

There are numerous cases of flu vaccine damage (1). Many can be accessed online showing peer-reviewed research data. Examples include: Neurological damage, behavioural disorders such as ADHD, foetal deaths, autoimmune disorders, narcolepsy and flu (yes, the vaccine can cause flu! as shown for instance in a Canadian study (2)).

2. ‘Big Medicine’ is protected legally

By the way, did you know that a law was passed The 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act” enacted in the USA granting big medicine impunity from being sued for child vaccine damage by parents?  This law kicks in regardless of whether or not the FDA or CDC approved a tested or untested vaccine that caused harm.

3. Toxic ingredients

The flu vaccine hosts a whole cocktail of toxic ingredients. This includes mercury in the form of thimerosal used as a preservative. Some of the evidence for vaccine damage linked to thimerosal has been hidden but the evidence is there to show that it can cause body and immune system damage (3).

Other noxious substances may include viruses (alive or dead), foetal tissue and toxic stabilizers or preservatives besides thimerosal…  making the vaccinated more susceptible to disease.

Do you really want to play Russian roulette with your health by getting vaccinated with the flu shot? Or do you want to give consent to having your children vaccinated and endanger their health?

4. The vaccine is ineffective

If ever there’s a case of pseudoscience, ineptitude and, let’s face it, downright quackery, it’s in vaccinations. The flu vaccination is no exception. Look up the various medical journals or popular natural health-based websites and you’ll find much data in support of the claim that the flu vaccine is ineffective.

Here’s one example to start you off:

There’s a study documented in the Paediatric & Adolescent Medicine showing how flu shots made no difference compared to those children unvaccinated (4).

…and another one, the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine reveals that the death-rate for pneumonia or the flu has not changed since the introduction of the flu vaccination, even though vaccinating the elderly has increased  by more than 4-fold since 1980 (5).

 5. The vaccination is a virus-spreading agent

Absent of thimerosal and mercury, there’s a nasal spray flu vaccine called ‘FluMist.’ It has, however, raised some concerns in that this live attenuated virus has the capability of spreading. What about the vulnerability of those nearby with weak immune systems such as the elderly?

6. The flu death myth

For the best part of ten years US citizens have been constantly told by the CDC that some 36,000 die of flu each year. The fact that this figure never changes has aroused suspicion in some. Medical Doctor Joe Mercola investigated the CDC’s claims and found evidence to the contrary (6). He found that the highest ever documented evidence for flu deaths in the USA was 21,047 in the year 1941. Then over the years the mortality rate generally continually dropped. By 1995 -1997 for each of these years there were between only 600 – 750 flu deaths.

The CDC’s annual figure of 36,000 had been derived by the inclusion of not only the flu but also deaths from respiratory, circulatory, cardiac and pulmonary deaths that could have been linked with the flu.

In other words, the grossly exaggerated and unfounded claim of 36,000 deaths per year was used to instill fear into the public to make them choose the flu vaccination and increase market sales on the vaccine. This can be backed up by whistleblower Glen Nowak, former CDC communications director, where health authorities and experts are encouraged to exaggerate and use fear mongering (7).

There are other cases where the CDC has been caught using shoddy statistics. Take the case of their 2012-2013 seasonal analysis figures for flu-related hospitalization rates. Confirmatory lab test results for the flu are given to the CDC by the Emerging Infections Program (EIP). Because these lab test results only indicate the flu and not the other related illnesses the CDC multiplies this by almost three! Thus they use this blanket result for multiple illnesses to make documented claims of flu cases (8).

So, those are my 6 reasons for saying NO to the flu jab.

The solution

The best way to avoid the flu is by choosing the healthy options related to diet and lifestyle. Get plenty of good immune system building healthy eating: A diet that includes plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables (80% raw food) preferably organic… oil of oregano and garlic are good examples of infection fighting foods and give yourself good supplies of omega-3 foods like coconut and krill oils… Avoid junk food with its high salt / sugar and nasty trans-fats.

It is important to have around 15-20 minutes a day of direct sunlight to maintain vitamin D3 levels. Many people get colds and flu because of a lack of sunlight during winter.

Wash your hands to avoid spreading a virus.

Sleep well, handle your stress and have a positive outlook on life.

And, finally, get regular exercise.
